Work, Work, Work!

Well I am finally getting settled with all of my jobs!  The doodlebugz site is getting really set up on Etsy and I am starting my massage business in Lanesboro, Tranquility Massage by Stephanie, also chugging along with my job at MSB.

So one of my good friends is having me play a game of blog tag!  (a little late, sorry Rachel)  But I finally am getting around to it and I think it will be fun.  Here are the questions that I am answering!

1. What is one item on your bucket list?
To travel to Germany, I hope I can visit where my family came from since at this point in my life it is unattainable.

2. Please share a goal you have accomplished.
I am starting my own business and I finally posted some of my finished products on my Etsy site.

3. What's the next book on your To be read list?

4. What's the last book you loved?

5.What author would you love to meet? (Alive or dead is fine, it's a fantasy afterall.)

6. If you could pick a name for yourself, what would it be?
I don't know because I really like my name.

7. What was your first pet?
Other than a lot of pet rocks... A golden retriever

8. Chocolate or caramel?
Chocolate, all the way!

9. Do you like to read about the past, present or future?
Definately the past!

10. Where would be your dream vacation?
Africa, I have always dreamed of going there.

11. What did you have for dinner last night?
I have four kids so it was leftovers and mac and cheese : )

Everything happens for a reason!

I seriously believe that the Lord has a plan for our lives, but the problem is that we don't always follow it, get sidetracked, or just ignore what He is saying.  We had a huge wake up call this past weekend at our house, when my husband was unexpectedly laid off from his job.  He had been talking for about two years that he wanted to quit roofing.  He has been doing it for 15 years and has ruined his body.  What has been holding him back is the pay he would lose and the fact that he supports a wife and four kids.  So when we found he was very nervous!  That night I was told about a job that I applied for the next day.  I would have to go back to work :(
He found some jobs that he was going to apply for and we found out that some one was going to be helping us with our house payment.  You can't believe the stress that the Lord had lifted off our shoulders.  There was still the questions of how we would make it work.  The next day, I received another job opportunity that I am very qualified for and the pay was even better.  It would be enough to supplement the income that was lost and then my hubby could take any job, not just a high paying one.  Praise the Lord!  Today I found out that I will be getting an interview...So what am I saying?

The Lord will provide if we depend on Him, and sometimes He will put struggles in your way to help you remember who is in control!

Too many things on my plate...

Sometimes I feel like I am a glutton for punishment because I can't say no!  Why do I continue to take on so many different responsibilities?  I guess the answer to my own question is right there...I can't say no.  I enjoy the feeling of fufillment I get from accomplishing a task, but as you might guess that doesn't happen as often as I would like because the list of things doesn't get any shorter.
I guess it would be safe to say that I can quit complaining to my sister and close friends about the fact that I barely have time to shower and just start saying 'no' and maybe have a little more me time in the process.  But first let me finish the things on this long list...
