Everything happens for a reason!

I seriously believe that the Lord has a plan for our lives, but the problem is that we don't always follow it, get sidetracked, or just ignore what He is saying.  We had a huge wake up call this past weekend at our house, when my husband was unexpectedly laid off from his job.  He had been talking for about two years that he wanted to quit roofing.  He has been doing it for 15 years and has ruined his body.  What has been holding him back is the pay he would lose and the fact that he supports a wife and four kids.  So when we found he was very nervous!  That night I was told about a job that I applied for the next day.  I would have to go back to work :(
He found some jobs that he was going to apply for and we found out that some one was going to be helping us with our house payment.  You can't believe the stress that the Lord had lifted off our shoulders.  There was still the questions of how we would make it work.  The next day, I received another job opportunity that I am very qualified for and the pay was even better.  It would be enough to supplement the income that was lost and then my hubby could take any job, not just a high paying one.  Praise the Lord!  Today I found out that I will be getting an interview...So what am I saying?

The Lord will provide if we depend on Him, and sometimes He will put struggles in your way to help you remember who is in control!
